. Research and development of innovative 3D computer vision/perception algorithms such as deep learning based object detection, semantic segmentation, environment reconstruction based on camera/LiDAR for robotics, autonomous driving, and other fields
. Participate in the design and development of the perception pipeline.
. Cooperation with Bosch business units in China and worldwide for requirement analysis, technology transfer, and to evaluate market attractiveness of new concepts
. Scouting, identification, and tracking of new trends and emerging technologies in China, derive impacts on Bosch research strategy and identify key partners
Qualifications
. Excellent master degree, ideally PhD, in the field of computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics and mechanical engineering or related
. Strong knowledge in 3D computer vision, such as deep learning based object detection, semantic segmentation, depth-estimation, environment reconstruction based on camera/LiDAR
. Familiarity with open source vision libraries such as OpenCV and PCL (Point Cloud Library)
. Proficiency and practical experiences in ROS, Python, Pytorch/Tensorflow and developing in Linux
. International experience is a plus
. Passion for innovation, problem solving & entrepreneurial mindset
. Strong team player with autonomous and efficient working style
. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written)
